Brendletown under Salem PLS!
I've been searching for days for any info on the Salem, Brendletown area just south of Morganton to no avail. So I thought I'd ask all the experts here. I was looking for a house in Morganton but found there were no newer houses (at least in my price range). I'm therefore looking just outside and hope to still use Morganton as my main town. One realtor says this is a bad area, another says it's nice... the only other area near Morganton to look at houses on the market right now are in Icard, or Longview for a house built in the 2000's. These areas seem so far from Morganton and in cookie cutter subdivisions. I'm not looking in the Lenoir area, I'm afraid to say after a short visit, I found nothing charming or appealing about the town at all. Unfortunately, I didn't get to the areas I'm asking about. I'll be coming up very soon to look but any advice or comments would be terrific!
