Is there a lot of yard sales in the Lake Norman area? Moorseville, Huntersville, Davidson? I have noticed a few signs but are they an almost every weekend thing like they are here?

As I have stated in a few other threads, my wife and I will be living in Curtis Pond by the end of next month if all goes well. Yard sales are a big thing here. While you can find something here from time to time, it's mostly a bunch of junk. Old people with really old clothes and things like that.

I figure if there are yard slaes there, one could find some really good stuff from time to time.

I looked at Craig's List and while there are a few listed, that does not mean that everyone would least them on the site.

There are definitely yard sales every weekend
once the weather breaks and is warmer.
The Friday Charlotte Observer and the
Friday Mooresville Tribune classifieds are
great sources for them as well as Craigs list.

Several of the subdivisions in Mooresville have community-wide garage sales. My subdivision, Harris Village over on Hwy 3 is having ours on 6/5. We're also having a food concession, Bake sale & vendors. Some of the subdivisions have an event like this. I know Curtis Pond has one twice a year, Linwood Farms just had theirs. The community wide ones tend to be better. With people moving in & out, there's lots of stuff to pck from.
