I love that countryside in Lincoln county. And what is so wonderful - much of it is just as it was 100 years ago.

I don't want to see the land swallowed up with housing subdivisions. I hope folks can hang on to the land and keep it pastoral as it is now.

Thanks for sharing your walk with us, Sunny!

Keep talkin' Sunny, lol. But after posting the pictures, all the 'stay away' talk isn't gonna work!!!! People can see for themselves how beautiful it is . . .

It is true, tho. A lot of folks really are not comfortable in rural settings. I love it and always will. The only time I don't love it is when I need to run errands and it takes a lot of time and gas to do that. That is the one and only drawback. However, so many things can be done online - also, things can be ordered online - that even the errands are not as big a hassle as they used to be in years past.

I see your photos and start thinking maybe it's time to invest in some acreage again and move out where I can have some livestock and a big vegetable garden . . . and a herbal/medicinal garden . . . and a studio . . . awfully tempting, especially this time of year.

Im not to worried about people moving here because most of the people on here are Pookies Family
Cousins, brother, aunts, etc and neighbors are about the same . This land has been in family generations and will continue the same.
I wasnt kidding about guy sitting on outskirts of a field on a hill. Burly bearded dude.
I feel like it was because of me being new. He probably not familiar with my face.
Less fear of crime because your not going to rob your family.
Some call that is hillbilly
I call it Family.
If someone gets hurt or sick you can count on your neighbor to be there.

No matter what happens to you a family going to be there for you.

IF being part of a family a big network of love. If being part of a Family and loving God is hillbilly
Then Im proud to be a part of this hillbilly family. They are great people.

Since I recently been deemed to disable to work; this perfect place for me to relax
and work on my rehabilitation . Those photos are mostly God's creation.
What makes those pictures I take is that I am doing it with one eye as i'm legally blind in the other.
Let Go Let God

I love it is like a big family out here. Just recently Pookie cousin he just had a prom it is a big deal
more celebratory, graduation ceremonies are hard because you cant invite the whole family.
I watching the neighbors and they have to use two riding mowers to mow there yard dad was doing the back son was doing the front; they was out there for least two hours.

Ill take Hillbillies over thugs anyday.
Hillbilly is a caring big network of family.
Thugs only care for themself and often will rob or kill there only blood
