I was not sure I really wanted to move here to begin with, we were just trying to improve our financial situation. After living here for almost 2 years, I can tell you I would not move here again. I miss my family and the area I lived in. If I could break even or close to it, I would sell my house tomorrow and rent until my husband could find another job closer to "home".

Hunterdon County in NJ is rural too, just different. Hunterdon county is the wealthiest county in NJ and top 10(actually 4th) in the country. Very beautiful but very expensive.

We found our way out here because of the schools and a good commute for my husband. He now has a 30 minute commute as opposed to 1hour and 30. We like that very much and we have made some very nice friends.

There are some very rural areas of NJ.

Have you lived in any of the communities west of Charlotte, or are you basing your remarks on asumptions?

Here is info on the latino pop in Chalrlotte/NC. It appears stats go thru/ 2005, but haven't dug down on the website to be sure about that.
