Well Brinks became Broadview and will soon be ADT.

My contract with Brinks is up shortly, once wondering what to people pay for alarm monitoring and who do you use.

We use VECTOR. I think our fee is ~$30/mo.

Interesting you posted this today. I was just on the phone with Broadview this morning. Unfortunately, I had just renewed a 2 year contract in Jan and now I am wondering what I am in for with ADT.

Is there some reason you are not enthusiastic about having ADT? I would like to know what I am getting into.

Currently I pay $74.97/quarter.

I also use ASG, after they purchased Landtronix and my rate just went up because I disconnected my landline and their call center is in Lake Norman but when I was with Time Warner it was in Syracuse, NY and had too many problems. I paid $132 every six months, but will increase by $30 for the radio signal which cost $135 installed with tax. I have gotten two tickets so it worked well with the landline now we will see how the radio signal works. I own my box which at one time cost $200 and only replaced the battery once in 10 years at a battery shop off of N. Tryon for $10.

I have Time Warner Cable, have had it for 3 weeks with no problems thus far. I picked them due to a discount I receive, so I can't accurately compare prices. The installation was very professional and done well, and the start up was very smooth.

ADT $37/month I believe. It depends how many doors you have monitored & if you have a cellular connection. We've never had a problem with them down here. Our system with them in MA was possessed though.

Just be very careful of the contract you have to sign with these places. My contact with CPI automatically renews for 3 years if I don't cancel in advance in writing.

I have Time Warner Security for about a year. I love it. It is $27.95 a month or $19.95 a month if you have all 3 of their services. I have not had one issue with it at all. The installer was very professional who came out. I am very pleased.
