Area in Charlotte? (Harrisburg: house, live, shop)

Can anyone please let me know what kind of area Alanbrook Road is? Will be ther in two weeks and depending on the area, will be looking at a house there. Thanks in advance!!

That is East Charlotte. I don't know a whole lot about it so I don't want to discourage you from moving there. Let's just say that I have lived in Charlotte and have never been over there. Depending on where you work, there are a lot of options to find nice, safe & affordale housing. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions

Yeah, there's a good part of east Charlotte and a bad part....a really bad part. Dont know where that one is.

The vast majority of crime/murder news originates in East Charlotte. I would not go over there for all the tea in China! My vote would be avoid.

Hate to dissaude you, but to be honest, I would not live there. That area has unfortunately gone wild in the last 10 years. While Alanbrook itself may not be bad, too much of the surrounding area is. In particular, you want to avoid nearby Pence Road and Sharon Amity where it ends at Harris Blvd.

The nearest shopping is even closer to bad areas, so having your wife have to shop there would make me very nervous. Can you look a bit further out toward the town of Harrisburg?
