I cannot STAND when I call up a customer service number and someone from overseas picks up. I can hardly hear them and they all have heavy accents with the same typical reply to every comment or question: "Mr. XXXX, this, Mr. XXXX that." It's like speaking to a robot at times.
US Airways tried this and it didnt last too long. Plus with a bank I dont want someone in a country known for identity theft to have my bank info. Screw that.
U sure about that? I just booked my flights through their 800 number and the chick on the other end sounded like she was definetly from India.
US Airways call center was in the Phillipines. There are a lot of Indians in Charlotte, so you likely dealt with somebody here, or possibly in one of their other call centers. If they knew what they were doing and knew the areas of the country, thats how you can tell.
