Banks suck. I deal with Truliant Federal Credit Union and talk to people with southern accents in Greensboro

I cannot STAND when I call up a customer service number and someone from overseas picks up. I can hardly hear them and they all have heavy accents with the same typical reply to every comment or question: "Mr. XXXX, this, Mr. XXXX that." It's like speaking to a robot at times.

US Airways tried this and it didnt last too long. Plus with a bank I dont want someone in a country known for identity theft to have my bank info. Screw that.

I got caught up in an invoice discrepency with Time Warner Cable a few months ago.

They directed me through a slew of Indian customer service reps, the next just as inept as the previous.

It took THREE HOURS to resolve the issue, I spoke to 8 different people.

It is like the purposely put you through this mess in hopes that apathy will overcome you and you'll give up and pay.

There needs to be some accountability in these big companies & these call centers do not help one bit.

Not to mention the outsourcing of American jobs...

US Airways call center was in the Phillipines. There are a lot of Indians in Charlotte, so you likely dealt with somebody here, or possibly in one of their other call centers. If they knew what they were doing and knew the areas of the country, thats how you can tell.
