Hi, my husband and I moved to Huntersville from New York. We were members in quite a few German Clubs. We are looking for German Clubs in the Charlotte Area.

We moved from NJ about 1-1/2 yrs ago. The Alemannia Society (German Club) has their meetings at the Waldhorn Rest in Pineville, NC every first Thursday of the month. We still have not gone to a meeting but are considering it.
Let me know how you make out.
Inge

Default German Speaking Seniors

I have lived in Charlotte for the past 12 years and have been to one German Club meeting. Really enjoyed it. My mom moved to live here from Germany and we intend to both go to the next German Club meeting. Hope to see you there.

You might ease down to Helen, GA at the first opportunity. The town has "gone German." Some might say to a tacky degree, but I am sure there are plenty of German speakers there.

Good Luck.
