Hi Cupcake. I live in Indian Trail. I love the schools in this area. All of the schools here in Indian Trail have been rated as schools of excellent. The teachers have been excellent. They all seem to be very caring and passionate about what they do! My son attends Hemby Bridge and has done so much better since transferring there from CT. Please don't be deterred by the mobile units. We will be voting on a rather large bond in November to build more schools in the next few years. I believe 2 elementary schools, 1 middle, and 1 high school is in the mix for this area. Please let me know what kind of other info you are looking for. I would be glad to help. I think you will be pleased with this area.
We're building in Indian Trail. Everything I've seen looks GREAT, the schools look good and the area looks clean and safe. It's also a lot closer to 485 than some of the other areas in Union County we looked at.

We are also building in Indian Trail and it is a great town. It has a rural feel yet you are still close to shopping/dining. I have done extensive research on the area/schools and are very comfortable with our decision. Best of luck to you.
I'm on the border of Indian Trail. I think it's a great town. It has a very nice rural feel to it. Anyone I've talked to is very happy with the schools. Good luck!
Not so much the schools, I saw in certain areas where it seemed people took less care of their homes. Not sure if you were looking at those AWSOME trees and the green every where or how people took care of their houses, etc.?
There are definitely areas "less maintained", but I just considered it to be what you normally get in a more rural area (unless it's more upscale, like Weddington). Stallings is like that, too. It doesn't bother me a bit. Guess it depends on the person. I lived in a few farming communities in NJ and they were a mix just like most of Union County. Still safe, and wonderful places to live.

Actually you see some of that in Davidson too. It's a mix of this and that.
