Looking for some advice on some taboo topics for real estate agents. We are relocating and have 2 young children (3 and 1) and are interested in neighborhoods that have high concentrations of young children (pre-school age versus middle school and older kids).

We have taken one driving tour of the Cville surrounds and it seems like some of the newer developments in Crozet and perhaps Belvedere both have high concentrations of pre-schoolers. Is that accurate? Are there other (perhaps more established neighborhoods) we should consider?

We asked about Redfields before and drove through it. It seems like a good neighborhood, but the signs of small kids (toys that age, sandboxes, climbers, etc.) seemed very hit or miss and mostly signs of older kids (basketball goals older kid bikes, etc.).

As this information is something that real estate agents aren't permitted to discuss, we are hoping people here could give us some guidance.

Thanks!

Look at Western Ridge in Crozet, lots of kids of all ages.
