Boomer Professional -- Is there a mid-life singles life?
My daughter is moving to Chattanooga next week to be with her financee and a great new job. I plan to be there on July 9-11 to help her unpack, etc... and would like to look around myself. My company downsized just this week and I will be looking for a new job, a new place to live, etc., and thought I'd see if there were people like myself to socialize with -- I've been single a long time, enjoy lots of friends, have two dogs, and fairly liberal in my philosophy. Background is marketing/writing/education, a master's degree in education...and feel it may be time to start over. What's the opinion... would I have a life in Chattanooga with like minded, fun 50+ people?
