My wife and I have been in Chattanooga for the last week looking at houses, and have narrowed it down to a couple of areas. Those are the Old Stage Run subdivision, Molly Meadow, Keystone, and the last is Bella Vista. Bella Vista is considerably older and much less expensive, and is at the bottom of our list, but the price is great. Anything we can learn about the areas above would be appreciated. We're retired with no children in the area so schools aren't important but safety and stability is. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I suggest you start knocking on doors in those areas and asking questions. That's what I did when I moved here. Most people would love to answer your questions. It's warm out, so you can probably find many people already out on their porches or doing yard work.
