Smile Taxes and Homeowners insurance

Can anyone give me an idea of how much taxes and ihomeowners insurance are in the Southeast portion of Tennessee? We are planning on retiring from Florida where the taxes and insurance are keeping us working. Any input would be appreciated.

Default Insurance=25%

G: You have a pleasant surprize coming. Our 2nd year re-newal increased $5.
1st year was $335 , now $340 on a $132k newer House, not mobile/modular which may be higher. Travelers ins thru real estate agent.
Taxes maybe around $800 range, we have posted before actual milage rates for each different town. On new construction maybe have 1/2 rate or partial year, early appraisal grace phase in.
Up on top of Signal mtn , near a NEW High school, the water district may be asking for a $650 water CAPACITY fee.?? Hook-up , so always ASK r.e. Agent any unique town assignments.
Again enjoy the VIEW. Mtns/ churches / festivals . ............[/IMG]

Thank you so much for the info. We are now paying about $4500.00 per year for T&I. What a difference. Beautiful picutre. I can't wait to come up in September. Tennessee really looks beautiful.
