Stringers Ridge - The Pinnacle (Chattanooga: for sale, real estate, rental)

Hi, I'm a New Yorker who is considering re-locating to Chattanooga. I will be visiting within the next few weeks. I've been in touch with real estate agents about purchasing a condo in the area and will be visiting a building called The Pinnacle. Does anyone know anything about Stringers Ridge or that condo development?

Also, being from NY, I am accustomed to traveling by public transportation and was wondering if anyone knew of some condos for sale in Chattanooga that are near buses in the price range of 100 - 175k. Thanks

You may want to ask your realtor about the public transportation on Stringer's Ridge. I am not sure if they go up there. The link I sent you has some great condos in it. One of my favorites is in the old Southern Railway building on Market Street which is downtown and the bus stops right at the front door.

Hi I was there and looked at those condos a couple weeks ago. It is a renovated rental building and they have done a very nice job. there are some unique amenities eg: Movie theater for owners to book free of charge with a huge screen to play DVDs on and it even has a popcorn machine
As for transportation, it sits on top of a rather steep road and at the moment there is no way to the main street except drive or walk. Up would be a work out! However they did mention that they are trying to work out an arrangement for the free electric city shuttle to stop there as it expands its route system, you may want to check with the city transportation dept to see if that is actually going to happen.
It is very reasonably priced as some of the buildings right in town are priced in the mid to high 6 figures.
If the person who sent you the condo link would be kind enough to publish it I would be very interested in checking it out.
