Default Chattanooga's finest

Today we heard the screech of tires, and the dull thud of two thousand pounds of metal coming to a halt. The accident was caused by a driver going to fast on the road behind our house. Posted speed limit is 30 mph. I did get to meet our neighbor as a result. He remarked how many times they've had to replace the mailbox, and how they don't park their cars in the driveway close to the road anymore!

Chattanooga police responded quickly, followed by Chattanooga Fire & Rescue and Hamilton County Paramedics. Good job guys!
The driver walked away after both airbags were deployed during the accident. This picture was taken from our backyard.
