How is the job situation and where is the least crime in Chat for a single woman and child, how are the small towns I want to live where people are genuinely nice

The job situation seems to be good. Some large manufacturers have located here and are hiring. Your question about the safest places to live is pretty subjective. I've not researched the crime stats but would say Signal Mtn, East Brainerd and Ooltewah would be good bets.

East Brainerd and Ooltewah, definitely. I currently live in East Brainerd, but want to move back to Ooltewah just to get away from the traffic.
