Jkme - I'll bet there are a ton of people who live in Soddy that don't even know that, as they are amongst the thousands of newbies who have moved into new construction in the past decade. Yep - I called it "Soddy". To those of us who don't live there, that's what the whole area is abbreviated to.

Bluebird, I-75 and I-24 do get backed up during rush hour, but Highway 27 isn't so bad. You couldn't pay me to commute from Downtown to Ooltewah each day. It's a very nice area in which to live, but I don't want to sit in traffic for 45 minutes. The commutes are better than the Dallas area, but in some areas can still be a bit long (my sister lives in Arlington, so I know what kind of nasty traffic you guys have).
