Smile Soddy Daisy?

I was interested in Soddy Daisy. If anyone could tell me about this town. Yes, I am another Floridian looking to move to TN. We are moving to TN, just not quite sure when it will be. I have been looking around on the internet and found this town. Can anyone give me any information? Thank you.

We are looking to buy a home there. Would like to have a home with a acre or two. We like having neighbors. Just don't want to see them in there kitchen when I'm standing in mine! Homes here in FL are so close to each other that you can't even have a conversation outside without have the neighbors hearing you talk. We have a couple of dogs who would love to be able to run around in a big yard. Any information would be greatly appreciated. How the weather is, how much snow you get. My kids have never been in the snow. Would love for them to be able to enjoy that. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Thumbs up Soddy or Dunlap ??

R.T.G.> We just went the new construction route and at .9 of a acre, butting up against TVA easmant in rear have about the largest development in Soddy. You may need to look WEST over the Walden ridge to Dunlap, common to have 5 acre tracts if you let dogs run with no fenced yards. Also would see some snow or last longer than half day before melts. 5 inches may be the yearly average. Many on line realtor may give you a start. CRYE-LEIKE seem to be the biggest in Hamilton co and sure will eventually find your interest.

I have lived in the Chattanooga area most of my life and worked and lived in Soddy Daisy also. I LOVE LOVE Soddy Daisy. You have a nice mountain range on one side, access to the lake/river, good schools, and any sort of price range to purchase a home. Do you have any specific questions? I will be glad to help
