Default Tennessee... we want your water!

I can pretty much predict how this will go over, but just curious for opinions...

Atlanta's drought conditions are now record breaking. Yes, we have bone head politicians who can't seem to get off their butts and build more lakes, or restrict building here to reduce the number of households that use water. Yes, the corps of Engineers are complete idiots who released too much water and used faulty gauges for months. etc etc. The list goes on.

A comment on the news mentioned that a few officials are "exploring the idea" of piping water from the Tennessee River down to the metro Atlanta area. My guess is, that 'aint gonna go over so well with the folks in Chattanooga since the pipline would originate close to there.

Is this a sane solution? Unreasonable? Don't care?

Considering we are being told that our drought conditions are severe here in Chattanooga, not sure of the feasibility of that plan......
