"MEET & GREET" Picnic (Chattanooga: new house, tornadoes, campground)

We would like to gather some or our forum members for a MEET & GREET picnic SUNDAY afternoon. Now that the Heat is gone, the Rains have come, Tornadoes and Forest fires gone other states, reason to party in the fall foliage colors.
. North Hamilton county Rt # 27 area near the river, North of Soddy Daisy , close to the Possum Creek Campground about 1:30pm. We have wooded hilltop 40 mile mtn views, empty dead end street paved parking. Also plant swaping/sharing, garden viewing, hiking to cove, cycle trail riding. ATV or 4 wheeler welcome to bring, forest trails.

We're in--That's 3 of us. I was thinking of bringing some homemade mac and cheese and maybe some brownies from scratch if I have the time. Does that work or is there something you need specifically.

Your brownies were good jkmewright! I volunteered to make what I have the ingredients in the house for Nicer to the budget that way...I have to say though, I am still getting used to this oven. My last batch was under done and I could not get it to finish. I will have to up the temp a little bit. Don't you love getting used to the quirks in a new house?

Ok, who else is up for a get together for the Chattanooga Cohort????? Let's put faces to the names!

Oh, now you do it! Couldn't think of it last week (we were in town) or did we inspire you on the walk? Just kidding sorry we will miss it, would have loved to meet everyone. You guys will love it, Split did a fine job clearing the trail and the views are wonderful. Maybe will get to meet you all next year. I think the Splits should consider an annual hilltop event for the local board members, I vote yes, sorry Cheryl.

Good Deal Gang: Did not build a rear sidewalk today for nuthin. Looks like some of our members had milestone REPUTATION roll overs this week, we should have a Toast (Liquid) to them. JWright "300" wow, congradulations, are you in a Bowling League.? TriDad 100, me 100, etc. We have a DRY town up here so maybe some of the City Folk can Hide a bottle of Wine under the back seat heading north?

B.B. ,Yes some food would be great, maybe also some photocopies, this N.E. lady was just asking me the other day if there was any unique "KIDS RECIPIES" in my neck of the woods. Something like a Mrs Seinfield.!!

Yes,Chain Saw lessions will be available for a short while, both Gas & Electric.
