Default PUBLIX coming to Chattanooga 8 %-9 %
News release other day states PUBLIX grocery-stores to build two north of the city, maybe HIXOn, RED-Bank towns, Prior forum question, asked store mgr and Hamilton co here has 8.25 % sales TAX on grocery items, milk, bread, etc and other non-grocery or house hold items, soaps, cleaners, etc are taxed at 9.25 % rate. Also new BI-LO grocery to be added in this area.
