The RB units usually sit on Mtn Creek Rd, facing towards Signal Mtn, right after you go under the highway. A friend of mine got a warning ticket on his way back to work from lunch and it was a really hi-res picture. So don't be fooled by the vans. The RB van hasn't been out that much as of late that i have noticed since I live in the area.

I also know that if you so much as go over the white line at a red light and there is a camera, it will snap your picture as well.

You can dispute your tickets by going to The Red Bank Police dept and see if you can get on the docket. I don't know how you would prove that you were the one driving the car though. But these tickets do not go towards your driving record.

Oh and be careful of Hamilton County Sherriff and City police, they are able to clock you coming from the opposite direction if you are speeding. Had a county sheriff get my boyfriend and then had a city get me a week later, I was coming down Rossville Blvd. I love how they give you a ticket and right before they let me go, they ask if I have been drinking. I would think this would be the first thing they would have asked. But the last couple of times I have gotten pulled over they ask that last.

Anyway, stay safe!

Default Vans

Red Bank is another company -- There van is not the same as Chattanooga. They have also added a couple of more cameras. Rumor has it East Ridge is getting a van and possibly cameras.

I know in the S-curve there has been a drop in accidents/deaths. I have heard that the same company that does Chattanooga is also now doing Knoxville.
