I am looking at a possible relocation to Chattanooga and I am trying to gather as much information as possible to make it as easy on my family as possible. Many of you seem very knowledgable about the area and I have found a lot of useful information about the area and the schools through the forums. My particular concern is if any schools, townships, or YMCA's have a swim team or league (year round or seasonal). I have an eight year old daughter who loves competitive swimming and I would hate to see her have to give it up. I would be considering any community within 40 miles or so of Pilgrim's Pride Corp in Hamilton Co. Thanks for your time.

I don't know much about swim leagues but I do know that Baylor, GPS and McCallie have excellent swim teams. Several of the neighborhood pools and country clubs compete in the summer.

I swam (long ago) for this team. Not sure how things are now but it seems like there are quite a few kids involved and there's still a pool
It's in Red Bank, close to Signal and Hixson.
