Thumbs up Wilderness Outdoor Theater - Trenton

I have posted this on the GA board, but have received very little response. i know it is in GA, but it is so close to Chattanooga, I wondered if ya'll might be able to help.

I saw this outdoor theater in Trenton, and it sounds like a great place! has anyone been? Is it family friendly? (As in, not more unchaperoned teens than anything else?)

It apparently is a drive in, but you can get out of your car and picnic also!

Someone here posted the link to their site on another post. I remember it said they open in April and going to year round upon opening. Looks beautiful and I'm excited to go once we move. Just do a search, you should be able to find it. I'll look to, hehehe.

Viki

Thanks Viki! I had found the website and I can't wait to go either! What I was wondering is if anyone had ever been and what their experience of it was - whether it is more geared to entire families, or if there is more of a teenage feel there.

How about it jkmewright? Know anything? I bet you do - you always have good info - not to mention great pics!

If you do a search, I believe that jkmewright has gone and liked it. Or, maybe she will chime in when she gets to work today

Man, I was looking for this post just yesterday and got distracted lol This is just a cool place. SO easy to find just off of the interstate but it's like you are WAY back in the sticks. Makes ya want to live in north GA. We had a good time and the food/beverages seemed pretty reasonable. I heard it was opening back up on April 4th. I am SO looking forward to packing up the trucks and kids and headed down to Trenton! Ya'll yell hear?

Sounds great!!!! We will all have to go and enjoy! It looks like we will be moving May 1 now instead of April 1!!! I am so bummed!!!!

Husband is on the phone now making plans for us to come up there tomorrow and tie up some loose ends. At least we will get to ramble around for a day or so until we finally get to move there!

So has anyone gone yet to the drive-in? this is got to be great drive-in weather time.

Reminder link attached;

Coming soon to the woods near you

I wonder how they police the "no outside beverages and snacks"? That is seemingly the charm of the drive thru, well, as well as the outdoor part...
