A good dentist in the chattanooga area that take Medicaid (insurance, health)

I am seeking a good dentist (that takes Medicaid) for my little sister. She has had multiple problems with the same crown on her front tooth.

If we aren't able to find a good dentist that takes Medicaid, we may have to pay for the full procedure (this is her third crown on the same tooth) out of pocket.

Could anyone please let me know if they are aware of a good dentist that takes Medicaid?

Considering that no one has responded, should I assume that there aren't any good Medicaid dentists in the Chattanooga area?

We moved in September and have not yet found a dentist. I saw another thread, in which people mentioned good dentists, but I have no idea which accept medicaid (TennCare) and which do not. Sorry

(Just moved from Chattanooga, so...) Few dentists (and physicians, for that matter) in Chattanooga accept medicaid. Simple reason: medicaid reimburses VERY poorly (compared to private insurance).

Anyway, go to the website: Find A Provider (http://www.doralusa.com/FindProvider/FindProvider.aspx - broken link). Enter your zip and program. Yes, a sizeable list of dentists will be provided for Chattanooga. However, contain your glee, because some/most of these providers will not accept medicaid (excuses: "we've stopped taking medicaid", "we are booking medicaid patients six months out", "this is an error, I don't know why we're on that list").

For "good" dentists: make sure they're members of the ADA (ADA.org: Find a Dentist) and have no present/past grievances with the state dental board (unfortunately, I was not able to access the Tenn Dept of Health website tonight).
