haven't seen any ticks since we've been here. Mosquitoes are as big as grapefruits, but in my opinion that makes them easier to spot!

Those aren't mosquitoes, those are a different type of love bug. Don't fret it. They just look like mosquitoes.

I've found 2 ticks in 2 days. One crawling on my sons neck and the other crawling on the kitchen floor. We don't have pets and my son wasn't playing in the woods. We do have a lot of trees behind our home though. I know that last summer the neighbors kids had ticks on them several times.

I haven't had a tick in a long time. We have so many mosquitoes that the insect spray we keep VERY handy might keep the ticks away. Dunno?

Mosquitoes?? We didn't have many when we lived in NC and we don't have them here in TX. I haven't had to deal with them since I left MI. Are they really a problem in Chattanooga? Or just in areas where there is a lot of water.
