Default How's the weather been this winter?

Have you all been getting enough rain? It appears that every time I see a national forecast there is a system rolling through. Hopefully, it has brought water levels back up, I know the Monteagle area was really taking it on the chin last year.

Cool Still 3 " Low to Date.

G.B. Local tv news mentions area about 3 inches LOW to date for 2008. Yes a good soaker Sat night. Many of these nasty fronts that go thru Memphis start to break apart in the east Tenn over the plateau.
.. Ugly stuff goes to KY and South into Lower Ga. Grass is all very green and growing, trees are all full out, no late frowt for the fruit trees / bushes. Found Blueberry bushes in back woods I did not know were there last year.
. Very very windy Sunday, trees down for power line outages, but no real house damage like Ok, or Macon , Ga.
Used the lake for swimming about 3 weeks ago, but now just mid 70's. TVA has the level up to FULL in the lake / river. Water now up to Tree level in pic below. ..

Hey Splitter - Thanks for the report. Mid 70's and you're swimming? Some of us are spoiled, I wouldn't touch that temp.
