Considering relocating from VA (Collegedale, Ooltewah: mortgage, townhomes, safe area)

Would like info on county high schools (good, bad, etc) - have applied for a tchg job (Spanish). Also would like info on housing (small house/townhomes) in a decent, safe area for about 120K fairly close to Collegedale/Ooltewah. Any info/suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

P: Hello, welcome to the club. Housing should be do-able with the national slow down, mortgage re-grouping. That area good target as some people also, work over the border into Georgia as last year sort of a Salary war, Georgia was offering higher pay.
. This year Hamilton co having tough time with school BUDGET (Maybe 20 - 30 Cuts) also student issues.? Superintendent tring best role model, drop-out rate about 25 % in PUBIC , so always have some bad apples.
.. I would suggest going the PRIVATE school employment, about 25% of students are in motivated system. BAYLOR academy , for example, excellent campus, many LIVE_ON campus. Also hear about a GPS, (Girls Prep School).

Thanks for the info. I went to college in the area (Collegedale) but it's been a while since then - and I want to return in possible. Waiting to also hear about an opening in Ringgold with Catoosa County. Any housing info or other area details would be helpful.
