I placed my order this morning with Chattanooga Vacation Packages. I will get confirmations of hotel availability and such within 72 hours. We requested the Choo Choo. Mid July for 4 days 3 nights.
We are all SOOOO looking forward to the trip!

This is such a plethora of information! (Dang, southern gal can actually use AND SPELL a 3 dollar word!) No wonder I hang out here!

Actually in all seriousness, you guys are so consistent with the information that people need. I have done some lurking () in some of the other places, (I know, I know, I am a forum jezebel!), but the Tn forum, especially the Chattanooga forum, has some of the nicest, smartest, (ok ok ok, BEST LOOKING?) people on here. I for one am going to be a Chattanoogan if I have to freakin PAY somebody to make me an honorary member! Who's the mayor around here? I want to be sworn in, or knighted, or given the key to the city or something!

OK, being homeless is getting to me and I think I must be off my meds, but I truly mean most of it!

Anyhow, If I can't move to Chattanooga soon, I really am going to request honorary membership! What about it guys? Purty please???

Thanks for the support ya'll give, and I don't think you even really understand the actual good you do! I appreciate it, and I know that especially the newer members do. It is a positive environment without all the back-biting and juvenile shenanigans (99% anyhow!)

Got the confirmation just a day later. We are going to be at the choo choo on the 16th. Was a GREAT package deal, comes with the room, tickets to: Ruby Falls, Aquarium, IMAX, Incline railway and Rock City Gardens. 4 people 4 nights less than $650!
Anyone want to get together for cocktails (or iced teas) at the choo choo one early evening? Would be nice to see ya'll again.
I'll let everyone know if the package deal was worth it and a trip report from a tourists standpoint.......does it mean we would be official tourists if we live in state? LOL!
We are all very much looking forward to the trip. Get to see and do lots of new things, but less than a 3 hour drive, how cool is that!
