Saquatchie Point
Can any one tell me any new developments happening at Saquatchie Point. Seems like there hasn't been much said about it lately!

this is a beautiful piece of property, but I would not buy until they have some utilities in place and the road into Marion County is in place. There is a log house out there on the bluff with a generator......nice log house, million dollar view, no water, no elec.

I think that it is simply a beautiful place, and with a little patience and luck and planning, it really will be a wonderful place to live! (I know I know, but patience is a virtue!)
Honestly folks, from the pics I have seen, it really is going to be worth the wait.

We visited SP from Florida just last weekend, and it is indeed beautiful!! I had some of the same concerns as others--what about the roads--- other amenities and neccessities?? We took the tour and were told we would receive $225 in visa cards, but we have yet to see it. After the tour, we were told that the cards did not come in, and they would be mailed to us first thing Monday a.m. I called them on Thursday, and was told they were finally mailed out on Tuesday. Still haven't received them! Not that the $225 will make me or break me---but if they are not being honest and upfront with this--what other lies are they telling people?? I will not buy there!

SP is advertising heavily in Florida...free airline tickets, free VISA cards, free upgrades, free gas & groceries and college tuition for your kids and grandkids and neighbor's kids. Ok, I exaggerated a bit, but ask yourself why the people around here aren't buying them. (or are they?)

I stand corrected. Lo and behold, after my comments of yesterday morning; we finally received our $225 visa card in yesterday's mail (from Sequatchie Pointe). Shame on me for not trusting SP, and for not being patient!!
