Chattanooga Horse Stables
Hopefully be relocating to the CHA area this spring/summer. Have 11 year old daughter who is horse crazy and has been riding for 2+ years. Looking for info on either horse oriented neighborhoods (horse property), areas, stables, riding lessons etc. Any help out there?

There is one in Sale Creek on the main rd heading towards Dayton. It's on the right on a little hill just out of Sale Creek. They train horses and have riding schools. There is also Saddle Pals Club in Middle Valley/Hixson. They are very nice and can lead you in the right direction. Of course there are more, but these I do know a little more about.

Rhea county -Horse
P: J, Knows some of the specific names. The more NORTH you go from Chatt the easier it will be to find horse neighbors. You will love the DAYTON Holiday / Carriage parade. Below pic is some of the people pre-assembing.
Private Message if we can look for some specific info around our Sale creek area. . . .[IMG] [/IMG]

Yes, several stables in the area. In fact, we board horses on one of our farms.

LEE Pike, SODDY, For Sale,
Last weekend noticed a horse barn small farm for sale right on LEE Pike here in North Soddy with the For Sale sign in front yard. Also other 5 acre tracts north side of Possum cove. Had horses way out back, and rear property should go close to the water cove.. ?

Yes! Try Mystery Dog Ranch (706) 935-5559 They are in Ringgold, GA It is just outside the city of Chattanooga. My daughter is 10 and she rides there in both English and Western, and does Shows. It's a great place for kids.

finally here and looking
Finally here and looking at houses and for stables. Have talked to principals and looked at schools. As good as the reputation for Signal Mt schools is it is a shame they came across as not being supportive for children that need a little extra help. High kudos for Westview elementary (all first impressions).
Looking at E Brainard area for house and researching stables and lessons. Any help out there? All input on horse houses etc is appreciated.
Will add that first impression of the area is very positive. Thanks to everyone who has helped out.

Wonderful to hear that Pioti! Westview is an excellent school. Sorry too about Signal Mtn... Can't help you on the stable out that way but just wanted to say glad you like it here and welcome
