Default I do

I live in Chattanooga and work Dalton, GA. My drive to and from work is about 35 minutes. Usually more cars are headed to Chattanooga in the mornings, so it is nice to do it "backwards" as the traffic is lighter, especially in the morning. 24E heading for 75 in the evening is always a mess and I'm glad I don't have to drive that.

One big drawback to working in GA while living in TN is that I have to pay state income tax in GA. If you live and work in TN, you don't pay state income tax at all.

Wife and I are originally from a larger city in the Midwest, so when looking around for housing when we were getting ready to move down South, Chattanooga was really the clear option for where we wanted to live. There's plenty to do, pretty downtown, restaurants, etc. . . Living in one of the smaller, uh, shall we say "close knit" communities was definitely not for us.
