Default Disabled person seeking low cost living, but safe.

Hey all, I recently had a heart attack that really messed up my plans and, apparently, future plans, too. The bottom line is that there is a strong possibility that I may not be able to work again. Plus, I'm only 45.
I live in Central PA, single, and the cost of living will be to prohibitive unless I move in with family (Read: No)
I checked Realtor.com and found over 100 homes under 30k. That is an acre of land in Harrisburg, PA.
This is the research stage and need some info on decent neighborhoods with low home prices. I'm a handy guy. I, also, would love to experience the warmer year around weather. I'm a motorcycle rider and have vacationed in the Smokies and NC. It would be near heaven.
A big ++ would be a slightly rural area that is not to far from a hospital.

Cool Mag Link

RM: Welcome to very nice area of the East coast. Your post showed under the Chattanooga city, but you may find your low cost niche along Rt #411 , even #321 up to Johnson City.
. Dayton has a new hospital, if you do like something like Etowah.
Road Rash Magazine - Chattanooga Area Motorcycle Events here is a link to powerful cycle mag in our area. Other phone #'s etc. Maybe they will entertain a article on helping you re-locate with your Needs .?
. LOts of low $ places may be mobile homes, or shared property lines with rough neighbors. Have to lookin person , as the Saying a picture is worth a 1000 words.
.. More of off -road grandfather now , & went thru your state in Aug. Center part quite nice with new road . Corridor 99.?
Maybe re-post your thread in Tenn STATE section . Sorry for the delay.

I will repost in the TN state forum. However, I after some searching, it appears the low cost homes are in an undesirable section of Chattanooga.
I will check out Johnson City, too.

A big thanks
