Default Anyone work for the railroad?
My husband is a conductor for CSX here in Jacksonville and we're keeping our eyes out for a transfer to somewhere in Tennessee. As we have been watching for quite a while and have yet to see anything, I was just wondering if there is anything comparible somewhere up there. Near Chattanooga would be optimal.
It's not always easy to find out what is going on with this company, so if anyone knows anything, please let us know. I want out of here so bad. ALso, if anyone works for or knows someone who works for Norfolk Southern.......anything you can tell me?

norfolk southern has a job post for a conductor in Chattanooga the website its nscorp.com and go under job seekers. also does your husband by chance know what areas in tennessee they hire at csx

hey i don't work for the railroad but am trying (desperately) to get hired/noticed. besides the awful schedule, is there anything that one should really be aware of going into a conductors job? and is one railroad better than the other? i have app's in at UP and at CSX. ANY input would be MUCH APPRECIATED
