Folks, let's start a collection of the coolest and/or tackiest Christmas houses we run into. Every year the kids and family cruise around Chattanooga and check out the Christmas lights but we are running out of new ones so let's all chime in on some of our favorites
I can't give exact addresses but you'll know it when you find them!
Crazy awesome on in the Hixson area @ the corner of Memphis and Elm just off of N Access Rd. This family has been doing this for over 20 years. Great show.
Two more on 4th avenue in the East Lake area. Exit 4th Avenue (just over the ridge cut and before Rossville Blvd) and go... maybe 4-5 blocks to 4th and 32nd. These are almost across the street from each other and Santa is at one on the weekends. It's a scary kinda area so drive fast til you get to the houses lol
Oh ya'll we were down in the valley on 4th Avenue tonight checking out the lights and saw something... don't know what but it was on the ridge. It looked like a whole block of Christmas houses so we HAD to run up and check it out. It was ONE home decorated to the hilt! Ya'll have GOTTA head up to South Crest Rd. You can't miss it! I'll bet the posh neighbors just loved that LOLOL There was also quite a few tastefully decorated and beautiful homes to see.
There was a house about 15 years ago or so in the Hixson area that probably had close to 700,000 lights or so. The neighbors apparently took them to courte and made them shut it down. Anybody remember where this house was???
Yeah, rumor has it that house was owned by a local strip club owner lol Possibly/probably urban legend but it sounded good lol. It was out in Middle Valley somewhere. A couple of years ago we tried to find it but without the beacon of light we couldn't manage to. Thanks for the flashback We LOVED that house!
