Did you know that Cleveland, TN is just up the road?
Alot of folks don't know this, but Cleveland, TN is just north of Chattanooga (about a 20 min. ride). Now this is a peacefull town. So if your looking for the big city feel, but the small hometown qualities, then this is the place to check out. Look us up and you will see it all for yourself.

Doctor arrested yesterday as DRUG dealer
R: NOt so peaceful yesterday afternoon as police arrested a Doctor as a drug dealer while patients were in the WAITING ROOM. TV news showed handcuffs go past waiting patients.
One of the receiving prescription patients(?) was a Policeman , who in turn re-sold stuff.? Front page article on Times Free Press newspaper today.
.Yes Cleveland has a great location . Looked very serious there 2 years ago for a house. Just not as much waterfront access affordable as I found across the lake.

My cousin moved there about 10 years ago with the military he liked it so well that he stayed there. We have visited and are strongly looking at moving there in 5 years but many times wish we could do it sooner.
The cost of living(inc. taxes) seems much lower than WI, weather is much milder, the hilly setting is very nice and I think two rivers are near by for fishing and boating.
Like the first post said you are so close to Chattanooga, 20 minutes or Knoxville is only 1.5 hours away as well. You can be in Florida in no time if it gets too cold.

Just remember, no matter where you choose to live, there are freaks and weirdos somewhere. Some just hide it better then others. Personally, I would rather have it out in the open so I know what to expect.
Cleveland is a very nice town with lots of great points. It has some quaint areas around the main street and can hold its own for shopping, schools and the like next to Chattanooga. They are going through a bit of a revitalization and I anticipate good things to come from it.

You know, I've never really been a fan of Cleveland... until last week My trips up that way have mostly been the outlying areas and ALL THOSE STRIP MALLS UGH It seemed SO spread out and just didn't have that "feel". My family and I were headed up towards Greenback on the backroads and took a detour through town. How cute is central Cleveland?! I am glad to know now why some people love it. I know it's not just the way a town looks but it did have that "feel".

Are you a real estate agent trying to sell houses? I see no reason to go to Cleveland. Chattanooga has everything I need already.
