looking for schools for 3 year old and also a baby sitter (babysitter, kindergarten)

We have moved from MI and we want to get a list of schools our son could possibly go to around the chattanooga area. He is 3 years old. we are also looking for a part time baby sitter for him who will take care of him once he is back from his school.

Are you looking for 5 days a week, or a 2-3 days? Also, do you want 9-12, 9-2, or what hours? Would you like church affiliated or just a private preschool? And one more thing, what part of town? I'll see if I have any suggestion based on you answers. Also, there is someone else here who has mentioned a school they love for their son.

yes we are looking for 5 days a week from morning till noon. if we dont find a babysitter then we will send him full time. we want a good school where they give more emphasis on studies instead of just social interaction.
right now i am staying in mountain creek with a friend, but when my wife and son come here (next month) then we will get our own place (may be near east brainerd, hixson, mountain creek....) dont know about that yet.

any help would be greatly appreciated...

Try Aleph Bet in Brainerd. It's worth the drive across town. The children can stay up until kindergarten going 2 days, 3 days or 5 days a week. I think they would consider mornings. Super school with an excellent staff. This is at the Jewish Community Center BUT it's for children of all religions and backgrounds. We have been there 3 years and have had NO problems.
