great schools
I don't know about this one.

Actually, I do know about this one; I attended Ooltewah Middle and High schools (though not the elementary). I'm sixteen, by the, way if that makes things more clear. I though OMS was a decent to good school, depending on the teachers you happened to get. I wouldn't say it's a bad or mediocre school, but would definitely not say it's great and would hesitate to say that it's good depending on the needs of kids.

The high school is terribly funded and really overcrowded. Some people I know like it there, but it didn't do anything for me. And overall, the education is average or worse. (I don't have a great frame of reference since I've only been to one public high school.)

Apison and Westview Elementary schools are good. OMS is ok and I'm not sure about Hunter Middle.

Keep in mind that the Ooltewah area is getting a new high school/middle school. This will help with the over crowding. I attended OMS, but went to private school for high school because OHS wasn't the greatest. It is sad because both schools used to be great. However, they're definitely far from the worse.

The area, as a whole, is really nice place to live.
