Default Looking for Information on Lee University in Cleveland, TN

We are from Ohio and my son is seriously considering attending Lee University to study Business Administration next fall. He has had good academic scholarship offers from Miami University, Ohio State and Bellarmine. These are all considered top notch colleges as far as academic quality is concerned. I am not as familiar with Lee's reputation for academics. Can anyone give me insight on the college to help us make a decision. He has always attended a small private Christian school and Lee would be a good fit in that regard, but I am concerned about the academic part.

Over the past decade, Lee has been attempting to make a name for itself outside of the religious programs it has traditionally offered. I went to Lee and really enjoyed it. The tight knit community is really great. Some of their rules are a little over bearing at times (curfews, even on weekends), they have lightened up a lot from where they once were. But I can't say that I think the academics, especially for Business Administration, is as top notch as the other schools. I believe Lee's strengths are music, religious studies, education, and maybe science.
Hope that helps. Good luck!

I would honestly not reccomend Lee. They really have limited programs and the rules are rather dificult. I might reccomend though Bryan College, It's In Dayton, Tennessee. which isn't far from Cleveland. I have had several friends go there and they all love it.

Thanks for your comments, I have found out that Lee's Business program only requires Algebra where in contrast, Ohio State and Miami University's business schools require at least 2-3 courses in Calculus. This tells me that Lee's academics are not nearly as rigorous.
