Way Kewl! Hey, it's in our price range, too! Not enough land, tho. Both hubby and I are Star Trek fans.

Too cool! My family knows I'm nuts, boy oh boy!! Move there, it'll be confirmed!! LOL! Love it!

This is kind of cool. Brings back memories of living up on Signal. In the video, notice the curvey road? Try driving that during rush hour! Lots of Nascar driver wanna be's trying to take those curves at high speeds! At times there are trucks flipped on their sides from going too fast! Then all that traffic ends up on the "W" Road. Three ways up that mtn from Chattanooga, the other two are worse for curves.

This house is on Signal Mountain above Chattanooga. Back in the early 1970's when I was a kid, my family and I came around a sharp curve at about 6 a.m. in the fog, and I spotted this thing with its exterior lighting shining up at it (unusual in itself back then), and I freaked. I thought that Dr. Smith and the Robinson family had finally made it back to earth!
I haven't been over Signal Mtn. in a while (love the Hwy 111/27 thing),but its good to see the Jupiter II still sitting there on the side of the road.

I have fond memories of that house, too! After my family moved to Tennessee from Florida in the 1970s, we'd go back to Florida for all of our vacations and holidays. On the long drive back to TN, I always knew we were getting close to home when we'd spot the spaceship house on Signal Mountain. Even after the new Hwy 111 was built, my parents would sometimes drive on the old 127 across Signal Mountain just to see the spaceship house.

And for a mere $184k I think it's a bargain!
