I am going to be in Chattanooga for an overnight soon. Are there any restaurants that are "must eats"? Anyways, what are some good picks?

My family and I were just there 2 weeks ago for a week on vacation. We loved it and want to move there. What niche of dining are you looking for? Pricy steakhouse, brew pub? Or?? I can then tell you where WE ate and how we liked it.

Big River Brewery across from the aquarium is great, wonderful beer if that interests you. The food is great and a fun atmosphere.

We ate there twice. The Vienna style lager was outstanding. Tried several beers, loved them all. The food is excellent too! We thought it was a winner. They are hosting a big beer festival on 8/22 at Ross Landing. Wish so bad I could be there!

I eat there every time I drive up to Chattanooga - love the feel of the place and so far the service has always been excellent as well, so I would "ditto" that suggestion.

Default thanks

Thanks, I just got back from an overnight. Chattanooga is a great city. Your downtown is so much more vibrant than Huntsville (where I live), even though both places are about the same size.
