Default Does anyone know about "Renewal Communities" in Chattanooga ?

Does anyone know about "Renewal Communities" in Chattanooga ?
(they come up pink on the City's GIS maps)
If your property is located within a Renewal Community, what does that mean?
Are there grants or funding to fix up the property?
or
Does it place undue restrictions on you?
Any info or contacts would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Those are areas that grants may be available. The only areas that have restrictions on home repairs or modifications are areas that are designated "historic," like parts of St. Elmo.
