i'm looking for a place in chattanooga or close to chattanooga where i can ride 4 wheelers. i have 2 sport 4 wheelers, anyone know anywhere? i been on aetna once about 7 months ago, i'm not even sure how to get there anymore. i read on some forums today that someone bought some property on aetna and they closed it anyways. if you know of anything let me know asap.

Maybe Prentiss Cooper would be a good spot for you?

About Aetna, they had a meeting back in... August I believe. The group that was wanting closure has (so far) dropped the case. That's the last I heard but with Aetna who knows right?

Here's a Pirate thread from late August. Maybe PM 95.5Taco if wish:
Public access road aetna mountain????????? - Pirate4x4.Com Bulletin Board

Another thread w/info on Aetna nonclosure Stein Group vs. Chattanooga:
Aetna Mountain - IH8MUD.com

Here's the Werock Aetna group webpage, not very active but I would think someone on there could give you updated info:
Forum - WeRock Aetna Forum

They have been fighting about this mtn for YEARS. So far, it's still open...

Question Dayton ,---Win Rocks

D: I believe there are a few clubs in the Dayton area that ride the ridge..?
Same story from Bakewell, lots of deep ruts from V-8 Dune Buggys _ Beer can partys, old BoWater lumber property has locked gate on entrance.
. Most of sport guys go North to WIND ROCKS park for a day of serious skill activity . Can find their web site with search , maybe even here on forum past thread. LINK below , coal creek park . & events
. If our bridge was built could come to my backyard for cove swimming trails, but this am is 50 degrees.! Think swimming is over for year.

Prentice Cooper State Forest

Yup. Stay on the marked trails and don't disturb the nesting turkeys. You are good to go! Jake's teacher @ preschool got a new jeep and that was the first place she took it lol You know he loved her !

I was up on Signal yesterday at Edwards Point and saw a bunch of ATVs up there. The views up there are amazing.

there seem to be a number trails leading there but I'm not sure where they all lead out to. The one I took was single track over by Signal Mountain High School and not traversable by vehicle. They'll be over 700 people out there tomorrow morning for Stump/Jump. Come on out and you can ask
