Fall Festival (Knoxville, Ooltewah: food, activities, horse)

A family event this Saturday-17 Oct (1-4pm)is taking place at Mercy Stables off of Ooltewah Ringold Road just on the Georgia side. Great Family event to include Hay Rides, Games, Horse Rides, Food and Trap Shoot for the Dads/Moms.

This is a family oriented stables/working farm that does a lot to support the community with disabled kids and church group tours, horse boarding and other farm like activities.

Just my plug for them as my daughter seems to spend more time there than at home. Great place for kids.

P: Good info . We had horse questions in the past . Early forecast is only in low 60's so bring the 2nd sweater or even coat this weekend.
. Any early risers can go to the Lupton city / Rivermont car show on Hixon pike, Stuart church#3208.? Hot dogs, soda for early lunch on the west side of the dam before this festival.
.. I will take a rain check "P" , going to Knoxville for antique boat / machinery show. Oct busy month for outside stuff, however our church festival / hay ride is that night 7pm. Need a bon-fire for that one.
