We are considering moving to Chattanooga later this year. My husband has a felony conviction on his record. He also has an associates degree and is currently working on bachelors. Does anyone know of any companys or temp sevices that might work with him on this. He would willingly do industrial reasturants, janitorial work.

As long as the conviction does not involve children try Classified Staff (http://www.hcde.org/site/hr/classified.aspx - broken link) or Southern Management for custodial. What I have seen many times is that if you are honest on your application and they don't catch you on a background check you should be ok.

Good advice from jkmewright, it is imperative that he is honest on all applications. I know it is tough trying to get a leg up in the economy, but if he doesn't report it during the application process, he will be banned from working for those employers most likely forever.
