Actually I totally agree with you, but it's gotten down to the lesser of all evils as they are all copying each other to some degree.

The Traverse rear end is AWFUL !!!!!

Should I bring up the AZTEC WORD ???

I now find it difficult to really put my heart in anything out there.

I'm not totally comfortable with VW repair etc. issues.

I like the 100,000 mile GM power train warranty and Onstar as well.

Of course there is always Hyundia for the Warranty issue.

Don't let "fear" motivate you on the Onstar... I hate it when commercials try to invoke fear in you to sell their products like home alarm systems... in all likelihood, you won't ever "need" to use Onstar... I understand about the repair issues (its one of the reasons I decided to not buy an SUV and decided to wait it out)... the Equinox has the same repair issues as well... The Hyundai Tucson is nice as well and has one of the best MPG in its class (and the warranty to boot)... I have to say... its a nice car as well and not too pricey (I like the panoramic sunroof)...

The Chevrolet Equinox is a very affordable compact SUV.
