I'm not a big Corvette guy but this video rocks. A Corvette Z06 on the Autobahn. American muscle in Germany!

Chevy has been testing their corvettes at Nurburgring and throughout Germany the last 5 years or so.

There's actually a decent number of Corvette fans in Germany, most of them German. The last time I was in Cologne, I saw a huge group of Corvettes driving along the Rhine River and my friend told me it was a pretty common site. There were a couple of Vipers mixed in as well. Clubs like this one are all over the place...

I wish American drivers were as considerate in looking in their rear-view mirror and moving over when coming up on them...

Awesome video...

I will have to watch this from home later.

I have a 2007 Z06 and it would be so much fun to drive it on the bahn. It's width and stance make for an incredibly stable platform.

They have an amazing amount of acceleration even when you are already going 100, 120 etc. Just raw power to weight with a bunch of torque.

I don't know why some people do not like or care for the Vette. Its a bargain of a sports car machine! Especially the Z06.

Its the autobahn.

I wish speeders were more considerate.

This brings up a good point. I drive the highways almost every week. American's do actually move over for faster traffic, just not all of theme. Some of theme don't move over right away, because THEY ARE PASSING THEMSELVES. People will always complain, and only care, when it interrupts their special life.

And the last time I checked, there are speed limits on American highways. You think people would be thankful that they are not enforced (most of the time) by cameras and electronic limiters on cars.
