Any new Aura/Malibu owners in this forum?

I've read some reviews from great to 'adequate' but I'd like to hear some 'real world' experience.

I'm not an owner of the new Malibu, but I work for a rental car company and we have several of those in our fleet. The 08 models are a huge improvement over the previous generation. I've driven both the 4 cyl. and the 3.5 v6 and the quality is extremely improved, almost Toyota Camry like. The only gripe I have is that it can be a hard vehicle to get in/out of if you're over 6'0 tall like me. Otherwise, GM hit a homerun with this car!

I hope they do well, I was looking at them at a local dealer, look much improved but haven't driven one yet. from what I've read the 4cyl only has a 4spd automatic but a 6spd is due soon. I'm a little disappointed there's no manual trans available.
