That depends on the car you buy. If you buy real Chevys instead of Korean cars with a Chevy emblem, then you should be okay.

No real Chevy cars left with the possible exception of the Corvette-----at least not sold here in the USA.

Impala does not count; although for a FWD vehicle it seems to hold up reasonably well in police service.

Sad, but true.
If I were to buy a Chevy, it would be a '68 396 Impala or a '70 Chevelle SS 454.

Actually, I would consider a '67 427/425 hp Biscayne. I have a road test of one and it ran 13.40s in the 1/4 mile with 4.56:1 gears.

SSR is a truck which is based on the Trailblazer/SAAB 9-7X platform; Fleet was referring to passenger cars.

I am sorry you got a lemon, but just because you had one bad experience with a car, you can't say EVERY American manufacture is bad, garbage, etc. Plus, like others said, the Aveo is a KOREAN car. Should I say Hyundai and Kia are also garbage? Perhaps some models 15 years ago, but, like the Americans, they have come a long way in quality, reliability, etc.
