Yeah, I sorted that part out. I was hoping you could be more specific?

They had an Aqua Blue one int he showroom here. They now have A yellow one and a red one. I saw a black one at the dealer.

I like the Aqua blue the best. It is a beautiful color without looking like a kids car. Too bad it is not avialable on the SS. Maybe next year. the yellow is certianly eye catching as is the red, but I think that those colors kind of look like a kids car. They are more flashy than classy. Kind of like the purple Camaros of the mid 1990s.

I will defineitely keep my eye on these. I will not pay a dealer premium and I usually like to wait until the second year so that any bugs get exposed and worked out. IMO these are not as pretty style wise as my 1995 Camaro, they look more mean than pretty. However the interior is far superior. (Performance of the 6 cyl version is not quite as good as my Z28, but close). Maybe I will get an SS. I am not sure that i really wnat that much horseppower though. When would I ever use it? I like healthy acceleration and performance, but I do not melt tires as a hobby and I am not going to drive much over 100 mph ever, so it may be a waste of money. The measly 300 hp 6 cyl may be enough.

The only reason I chose auto is that it will be my daily driver & my commute on work days is 2 hours each way. That sucks the fun right out of shifting.

crap my camaro would cost north of 40K looks like I will be keeping the goat for a long time but I guess I can live with that I can't wait to run a 2010 SS at the local track and see what those extra 22HP and the new platform stand against my car

I think at that point its actually a drivers race. GM quotes the 2010 SS at a 13.4 second quater mile. A quick search shows a 2004 GTO tested at a 13.5 second quarter mile. When it comes to curves, the SS pulls .88g's on the skidpad while the GTO pulls 0.86g's on the tests that I've seen and this can all come down to who has the better aftermarket tire.
